Terms & Conditions of Service

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) outline the agreement between Lauren Lovett trading as Lauren Lua (“I”, “me”, or “my”) and you, the client (“you” or “your”), for the provision of styling, coaching, and related services offered via www.laurenlua.com (“the Website”).

By booking a service, purchasing a product, or using this website, you agree to these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Services

I provide online personal styling, colour analysis, coaching, and related digital services. From time to time, I may offer in-person appointments or events. Full details of each service are provided on the website or booking page.

I reserve the right to make reasonable changes or improvements to my services at any time.

2. Bookings + Payments

All bookings are made through my website, booking system, or by direct communication with me.

  • Payment: Payment is required in full at the time of booking.

  • For Colour Code services, payment may be made in two instalments, but the full balance must be cleared before any work begins or materials are delivered.

  • Prices are stated in GBP (£) and may be subject to change.

I accept payment through secure third-party platforms such as Stripe or Squarespace Payments. Your payment information is handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy.

3. Cancellations + Refunds

I understand that life happens, and I aim to be fair and flexible. However, because my services require time, preparation, and personalised work, the following applies:

  • 72 hours or more before your scheduled session: full refund available.

  • 48–72 hours’ notice: 50% refund or one-time reschedule (subject to availability).

  • Less than 48 hours’ notice: no refund offered.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact me as soon as possible at hello@laurenlua.com, I’ll always do my best to find a solution.

If I ever need to cancel or reschedule, I’ll contact you immediately and offer a new date or a full refund.

4. Service Delivery

At present, all services are delivered online via video call, digital guide, or email.
In future, I may offer in-person sessions or events. If so, additional terms (such as travel costs or venue policies) will be clearly outlined at the time of booking.

Digital products (such as downloads or guides) are delivered via email or hosted links once payment is complete.

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure you get the best results from your service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when requested (for example, during Colour Coding or Style Therapy sessions).

  • Attend your scheduled appointments on time.

  • Maintain a respectful and professional attitude throughout our working relationship.

My services are designed to offer guidance, support, and education — but ultimate results depend on your personal engagement and choices.

6. Intellectual Property

All materials, content, and resources provided by me — including digital guides, Colour Code palettes, documents, images, and brand assets — remain my intellectual property.

You may not copy, share, reproduce, or distribute any part of these materials without written permission. They are intended solely for your personal use as my client.

7. Confidentiality

Any personal or sensitive information shared during our work together will be treated with strict confidentiality and handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

While I aim to provide a high-quality, professional service, I cannot guarantee specific results. My advice, styling, or coaching does not replace professional, legal, or medical advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of my services or website.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of your experience, please contact me at hello@laurenlua.com as soon as possible. I will review the matter promptly and aim to resolve it with fairness and care.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

11. Updates to These Terms

I may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes in law or business operations. The most recent version will always be available on this website.
